Copy agreement stating that the Lancaster & Preston Junction Railway Company will sell, and that John Allen will purchase, 100 rails, each 16 feet long and weighing 65 lbs per lineal yard. The price per ton is to be declared by S. B. Worthington, Resident Engineer to the Lancaster & Carlisle Railway Company, according to the price of rails on the day of agreement, with allowance for carriage. Signed by R. C.
