Memorandum signed by Henry Maclean referring to a resolution of the Locomotive Committee of the Lancaster & Carlisle Railway Board, confirming the Board’s decision that Mr Worthington shall immediately proceed to see Mr Errington following receipt of information that Messrs Fairbairn and Sharpe are likely to offer to work the Lancaster & Carlisle line by contract.
