Detailed specification and a statement about the number of engines and tenders required to be delivered on the Lancaster & Carlisle Railway by the 1st May 1859. It is explained that the engines referred to in this specification are to be of the same pattern and build as the Lancaster & Carlisle engine no. 21, ‘Lowther’.
