Copy letter from Charles Stewart, Secretary to the London & North Western Railway Company, to S. E. Bolden, Secretary to the Lancaster & Carlisle Railway Company. Stewart encloses a copy of a resolution passed by the London & North Western Board in response to the minutes of the Lancaster & Carlisle Board of 5 October 1855, concerning the stock to be taken by the Lancaster & Carlisle Railway Company upon the termination of the contract with the London & North Western Railway Company.
