Rainfall Register
Volume containing completed and uncompleted register of rainfall returns for the years 1900-1999. Returns completed by William B Worthington at home addresses in Manchester (1904), Duffield (1905-1920) and Bushey Heath (1920-1934). Returns for all other years are blank.
Interleaved items include a newspaper cutting of a map of the United Kingdom showing average rates of rainfall in 1927 and a printed letter dated 29th December 1932 from the Meteorological Office, London, requesting a copy of the recipient’s rainfall observations for that year on an enclosed form entitled "Register of Rainfall”.
