Rainfall Register
Volume containing completed and uncompleted registers of rainfall returns for the years 1900–1999. Returns are completed by William B. Worthington at his home addresses in Manchester (1904), Duffield (1905–1920) and Bushey Heath (1920–1934); all other years are blank. Interleaved items include a newspaper cutting showing a map of the United Kingdom with average rainfall rates for 1927, and a printed letter dated 29 December 1932 from the Meteorological Office, London, requesting a copy of the recipient’s rainfall observations for that year on an enclosed “Register of Rainfall” form.
