Advising that in accordance with the instruction of the Lancaster & Carlisle Railway Board, he proceeded to London and had an interview with Mr Errington on Wednesday in reference to the change in obtaining locomotive service for the Lancaster & Carlisle Railway. Worthington explains that Errington will submit a formal report upon the subject once he has had the opportunity to discuss the matter with Mr Locke, but that his present opinion is to recommend taking some proportion of the stock currently used in working the line from the London & North Western Railway Company
