Handwritten notes by W. B. Worthington on a copy letter from W. B. Buddicom to Joseph Locke

Handwritten notes by W. B. Worthington regarding a copy letter from W. B. Buddicom to Joseph Locke dated 22 April 1840. Worthington records that the copy letter is in the handwriting of his father, Samuel Barton Worthington, and was given to him on 10 November 1911. He notes that the viaduct described by Buddicom is “evidently the Ouse Burn Viaduct of the Newcastle, North Shields and Tynemouth Railway”, and provides further details. The copy letter is held at WORTH/2/11/8.
