Explains the advantages of railways with locomotive engines, with particular reference to the London and Greenwich Railway or viaduct, which received Royal Assent on 17 May 1833. Fourth edition. Printed and published by Brown & Syrett, 17 Old Broad Street. Includes a fold‑out map and plan of the London and Greenwich Railway, with projected branches to Brighton, Maidstone, Dover and Paris, as proposed by George Landmann, Engineer.
