Leaflet detailing the 1881 first annual report of the Oldham School of Science and Art, Old Students' Association. Details the committee members elected (President, Mr E. Raynor, committee member, Thomas Sugden), the resolution passed in order to raise money for the society, the proposition to arrange meetings at which 'papers on scientific subjects shall be read and discussed', a record of the successful 'Conversazione' (a kind of exhibition, public talk), a long list of annual subscribers (including 'United Spinning Co. Ltd - £10 10s', 'Oldham Twist Co. Limited - £5 5s'), the number of student in attendance and the many trades they represent, the number of different employers former students are employed by, and the number of prizes won.
