Manuscript letter to Professor Roscoe, dated 30 July 1882 from A. Norman Tate enclosing Prospectus of Liverpool Science and Arts classes. Tate writes 'on pages 22-24 of [the prospectus] you will find particulars respecting the classes in Technology. These classes are I believe the only Technological classes in Liverpool'. On headed notepaper, which details information about the members of the committee for the Liverpool Science and Art Classes, including the President, James Samuelson Esq. The Principal of the school is noted as A. Norman Tate, F.I.C, the author of the letter. The handwriting is difficult to read.
