Manuscript letter from Wm. Narramore to S. Leigh-Gregson, 4th February 1882, concerning technical education.
Manuscript letter from Wm. Narramore (?) to S. Leigh-Gregson, dated 4th February 1882. Written in response to a request for evidence that could be presented to the Royal Commission. Narramore writes that he is 'certainly of the opinion that the most efficiently trained teachers, in both theoretical and practical knowledge are the best adapted to deal with any class of students'. He goes on to argue that 'looking specially at the Artizan class' more practical teachers 'are better able to deal effectively with them, than the majority of the very learned professors'.
