Single sheet, printed generic letter "Second Notice" dated March 12th 1881 from J.P. Phythian notifying recipient of the distribution of prizes by the Earl of Derby on the evening of 17th March 1881. The recipient has previously been sent a 'Prizeman's' ticket that requires them to sit in a specific place in the hall and to be 'on the platform by the time your name is called'.
