A brochure promoting a machine for testing the strength of materials constructed by Ludgwig Werder at the Maschinenbau-Aktien-Gesellschaft (Mechanical Engineering Stock Company) in Nuremberg, and instruments for measuring the shape change of the specimens constructed by Johann Bauschinger at the Mechanisch-technische Laboratorium der Königlichen Technischen Hochschule (Mechanical-technical laboratory of the Royal Technical University) in Munich. Contains illustrations of the various pieces of equipment. Probably produced for the Bavarian state industrial, commercial and art exhibition in Nuremberg in 1882. Printed by Dr. C.
