The largest section by far is Mrs. William Grey's address; it was delivered at the annual meeting of the Fröbel Society, December 5th 1876, and details the founding and purpose of said Society. 'It was originally intended by the founders, that the Society should be an association of trained and experience Kinder-Garten teachers, or at any rate persons well versed in the principles of Fröbel's system, which should become a centre for their diffusion amongst the general public' (page 8).
