Details of the Annual Meeting of the Institute, held at Mansion House. Includes extracts read by Henry Solly 'from the foregoing Report'. 'The Lord Mayor', who was chair of the meeting, 'observed that he knew of hardly any public institution likely to conduce to so much good among the working-classes as one such as theirs'. Describes how 'the system of apprenticeship seems to be dying out, and what instruction was given was badly and grudgingly imparted'; therefore there was and is a great need for educational institutions like the Artizans' Institute. Lists prize-winners and donors/subscribers from July 1874 to July 1876.
