Series comprises of multimedia contents documenting Campaign for Better Transport's actions in relation to public transport, including railways, buses and trams, social inclusion, and local transport days. Contains correspondence with policymakers and consultation responses, press releases, news cuttings, articles, research reports, research data, campaign strategy and summary reports, partner briefings, correspondence with local groups, working group meeting minutes and discussion papers, conference papers, photographs, and video footage of campaigning actions from the years 1974-2015.

- Access is given in accordance with the NRM access policy. Material from this collection is available to researchers through Search Engine. All researchers must sign data protection forms as a large percentage of the collection contains personally identifiable and sensitive information. Contents diverging from this policy are described at file/item level where personally identifiable information or materials subject to the 20-year rule for government documents is identified. Research requests for these materials will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Physical arrangement largely follows original order with respect to order of the original boxes, meaning documents are arranged by topic or initiative (Growing the Railways, Platform) rather than by type of document (press releases, correspondence). This arrangement is replicated in the structure of the series.
