Papers from the Social Inclusion Contact Group
File is comprised of meeting agenda and agenda papers, correspondence, copy of a person specification, contact lists, strategy papers, campaign reports, press cuttings, sponsorship proposals, and presentations produced by members of Transport 2000, members of the Social Inclusion Contact Group, and others (2000-2003), relating to the Social Inclusion Contact Group and its initiatives, including Bringing Buses Up to Standard, Making the Connections (interim and final report), Transport and Social Exclusion briefing, consultation on social inclusion, and Streets for People joint meeting. The Social Inclusion contact group was established to create a network of academics, charities, and activist groups across industries to work on topics of social inclusion. The group met 2000 - 2003 and was responsible for arranging conferences, drafting reports for widespread distribution, and sharing information, resources, studies and articles.
