Two bundles of typed and manuscript papers produced by members of local groups of Transport 2000 from Cleveland, Scotland, Plymouth, Ipswich and others (1997-1998). File includes letters from leaders and participants of local groups, as well as typed testimonies from the groups, which discuss the authors' opinions on the consultation document "Developing an integrated transport policy" produced by the Department of Transport to shape a strategy for integrated transport in the United Kingdom. File also includes copies of bulletins produced by UK CEED, Transport 2000 (Streets Ahead Sustainable Bulletin for Councillors), and a copy of the Summer 1999 issue of Transport Review with special focus on integrated transport; integrated transport research produced by the Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions (DETR); the consultation document produced by Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions (August 1997); printed meeting notes produced by Transport 2000 regarding the consultation document and imminent white paper (1998); photocopied newspaper articles on the development of the policy; news releases produced by Transport 2000 and Department of Environment, Transport and the Regions regarding the publication of the document and campaigners' response.
