General press releases produced by Transport 2000/Campaign for Better Transport relating to traffic reduction
One file comprises of two bundles of press releases and briefings produced by Transport 2000. Bundle one discusses publications on transport behaviour, decline of communities based on car dependency, recent publications such as Alternatives to Traffic Growth, Home Delivery, congestion, traffic hot spots, pollution, climate change, sustainable transport, Blair's support of addressing local traffic, and more (1994-2007). Bundle two contains press briefings produced by Transport 2000 and the Transport and Health Study Group which discuss priority road networks, red route schemes, feet first demonstration schemes, road casualties, road safety, traffic calming, environment, health effects of traffic, and fact sheets relating to traffic (1991-1993).
