File is comprised of correspondence from Department of Transport, Civic Trust, Jane Rodgers, Stephen Joseph, Baring Foundation, Transport for London, and others; bound grant schemes, invoices, press coverage, copies of Transport Retort articles, RAC Foundation report on motoring towards 2050, and other printed materials (1986-2006), which discuss Section 8, Railfreight, Baring Trust and Trainload freight grants to fund research on freight transport on roads and rail, including at Chirk, and involving freight facilities and environmental impact of freight (1986 - 2006).
