One sub-series comprises of sixteen files of information documenting Campaign for Better Transport's activities around freight and goods transport (1974-2008), including freight on rail, road, and water; grant terms, applications, and agreements; steering and working group minutes, correspondence, and notes for the Freight on Rail and Wise Moves campaigns; actions on specific topics such as Didcot rail freight, operator licensing, London lorry bans, local lorries, and the Armitage report; and evidence for legislators on lorry and freight-related legislation and inquiries.
