Papers relating to the Buses White Paper and Buses Bill

File is comprised of three bundles relating to the Buses White Paper and Buses Bill (1984-1985) and the Buses Bill (2014-2015). One bundle contains a response to the Buses white paper (1984) and one typed position paper on the Buses Bill (c. 2014-2015). Bundle two contains letters between members of Transport 2000 and Earl Attlee and Lord Underhill on bus policy including the Transport Act 1984 and Buses white paper. with appended annotated position papers on the Buses white paper (1984-1985). Bundle three contains one bundle of newspaper cuttings, leaflets, and correspondence on Nottingham Transport 2000's activities relating to the Buses Bill 1985, including 'Say no to piratisation' leaflet and correspondence from A.D. Leishman and City of Nottingham Transport likening deregulation to the sinking of the Titanic.
