One file comprises of one bundle of printed materials including letters produced by the Department of Transport, British Railways Board, Transport 2000 Northwest group; photocopied and original press cuttings; one research report; and other documents relating to railway station and line closures (1979 - 1985), including Woodhead, Glossop, Hadfield, Manchester to Sheffield, Peak Park, and other West Yorkshire lines and stations. A small amount of documents make reference to an "MSW inquiry" and the dissolution of the West Yorkshire Council.
