Research projects of Transport 2000 on social inclusion

Contains proposals, correspondence, strategy papers, survey results, and press cuttings relating to research conducted by and for Transport 2000 (1985-2006), on topics relating to disability and wheelchair use (South West Transport Activist Roundtable report on rural access including the Wiltshire Wigglybus), rural access, experiences of mothers and older people, and door-to-door transport mapping. Initiatives include the Door to Door report (Transweb), Getting About for older people, Mothers and Transport survey (including press cuttings covering the survey), South West Transport Activist Roundtable's Joining in Public Transport: Key issues in rural access, Making the Connections Final and Interim reports on transport and social exclusion, and Child Poverty.
