Papers, photographs, and other materials relating to walking and cycling
Sub-series is comprised of fourteen files of correspondence, meeting minutes, proposals, publications and research reports, press cuttings, press releases, news briefings, photographs, and other materials relating to Campaign for Better Transport (formerly Transport 2000)'s campaign activities for pedestrians and cyclists, including the Feet First and Way Ahead initiatives, and which discuss topics such as pedestrian safety, cycle paths, walking to school, green transport, pedestrians with guide dogs, policy impacting cyclists and pedestrians, and the national cycling strategy and national walking strategy steering groups. Materials are produced by a variety of creators, including Transport 2000, Lynn Sloman, Judith Hanna, Rosamund Weatherall, Bethany Wolf and the Department of Transport and collected by Transport 2000.
