File is comprised of three documents produced by the Department of Transport, Transport 2000, Nick Lester and Stephen Potter (1981), which include the government consultation for cycling policy in the United Kingdom, Transport 2000's comments on the consultation document discussing the initiative, urban cycling, safety, infrastructure and planning, incentives, and integration with other forms of transport, and a report on bicycle route design standards with statistics and statements on safety, planning, taxation.
