Papers, drawings, photographs, and other materials relating to road safety
One sub-series comprises of seven boxes containing eighteen files of printed materials, print and digital photographs, 35mm transparency slides and negatives, and other materials including correspondence, early day motions, evidence to the High Court, conference delegate packs, press releases and news briefings, press cuttings, surveys, executive summaries, drawings, poems, letters, and more produced by Transport 2000, members of the Slower Speeds initiative, Tony Blair, schoolchildren, Judith Hanna, Lyn Sloman, Friends of the Earth, and others, which detail Transport 2000/ Campaign for Better Transport's actions related to road safety, including the welfare of children pedestrians, road accidents, speeding, and measures taken to address these hazards including speed cameras, speed reduction, policy change, awareness competitions, coordinated collective actions, and demonstrations.
