Letters, submissions, meeting minutes, and notes relating to road works on the M25
File is comprised of two bundles relating to campaigning against M25 motorway works. Bundle one contains seven documents including letters from Denise Carlo on behalf of Transport 2000 and Rebecca Lush Blum, typed and printed submission to the Active Traffic Management (ATM) feasibility study on M25 widening, minutes from 2000 meetings of the Road Transport Activists Roundtable, lists of non-government organisation representatives and contact details, and other printed materials relating to the feasibility and carbon emissions of the M25 London orbital route road widening works, to the London orbit study, and to the roundtable's activities campaigning against this road development project. Bundle two contains one opinion paper produced by Transport 2000; letters produced by Leigh, Day and Co, members of Transport 2000, Members of Parliament including Joan Walley and Peter Ainsworth; press releases produced by Transport 2000; and press cuttings collected by Transport 2000, which discuss the M25 motorway widening plans and the production of a research report produced by Jonathan Bray Associates on the M25 (1986-2005).
