The image depicts Jonathan Bray, former coordinator of Save Our Railways and coordinator of the Platform campaign at the time, and other transport campaigners carrying a coffin on a London street in the dark. The background depicts brass band musicians including a drummer, and a member of Friends of the Earth holding a sign. The image documents a campaign stunt with campaigners proceeding from Victoria Station to a meeting with the Secretary of State for Transport, Stephen Byers, at the offices of the Department of Transport, Local Government and the Regions in Bressenden Place.
