Colour transparency photograph of an accessibility demonstration for the Platform campaign

One 35mm colour transparency in a plastic mount produced by Alexander Apperley, photographer, which depicts one wheelchair user, people with walking sticks, guide dogs / assistance dogs, a person standing with a bicycle, and other campaigners. Campaigners stand in front of a large white sign designed to resemble a bank check which reads "A safer railway for [illegible]". Photograph was produced for Transport 2000 (now Campaign for Better Transport) for an accessibility demonstration during their Platform campaign to seek better conditions for railway passengers amid privatisation in the United Kingdom, c. 1993-2002. One of a set of eleven slides depicting the demonstration.
