Of the General Meeting of the Stockton and Darlington Railway Co. held at the Kings Head 8th July 1828.

The following letter having been received from Mr. Leonard Raisbeck resigning his office as one of the chief Clerks of the Co.
Resolved
That in accepting the same the thanks of this Co. be tendered to him for his former valuable services in that office with the expression of regret that circumstances shall have arisen such as to render that step on his part expedient.
