I the within named Frances Stapylton do hereby order and direct the within named Francis Reed to pay the Sum of fifteen hundred and fifty six pounds the Consideration Money within mentioned to be paid by him to me or to my Order into the Hands of John Stapylton Raisbeck of Stockton in the County of Durham Gentleman for my use And I declare his Receipt shall be a sufficient Discharge for the same Witness my hand the Day and Year first within written.
