Since writing the enclosed would just say if it should be thy election to leave the railway company solicitorship, I cannot on my own part see any other way than the railway company approving the Tees Navigation Co. to the upmost - whatever some individuals may think of limiting expense, I know many of the largest holders would not limit it - surely the waste of spirit it would create would be most deplorable. Are the Stockton people satisfied that Haverton Hill may never hurt the port as well as Middlesbrough.
