A letter from Richard Otley providing Leonard Raisbeck with a copy of the minutes of that month's General Meeting of the Proprietors of the Stockton and Darlington Railway Company. The meeting itself resolved to pursue the extension scheme towards the River Tees and 'directs the Company's solicitor to insert the requisite notices in the newspapers of the company's intention to apply to Parliament for another Act' to extend the railway.
