Letter from Leonard Raisbeck to Mr Pease
Regarding the Middlesbrough branch and proposed bridge. Had laid the resolutions of the Stockton and Darlington Railway Company before the committee of the Tees Navigation Company. After discussions they had adjourned for further consideration. They requested that the railway company with a plan of the proposed bridge with the elevations and dimensions of the arches. Also a plan of the Middlesbrough branch.

I have agreeably to my promise laid the resolutions of the Railway Company before the Committee of the Tees Navigation Company, who after some discussion on the subject have adjourned the further consideration of them to Tuesday the 15th inst: previous to which day they will be glad if the Railway Company will supply them with a plan of the proposed bridge shewing the elevation & the dimensions of the Arches (which Mr Otley omitted to add to the resolutions) And also with a plan of the Middlesbro' branch setting forth the precise line which the Company have set out & intend to adopt
