Gentleman
The Resolut’n passed at the last Gen’l Meeting of the Comp’y [illegible] remuneration to the [illegible] who attended in London during the progress of the Bill for extending the Railway to Middlesbro’ appear’s to be objectionable on several gro’ds. We in justice to [illegible] you to notify our dissent to [illegible] being acted upon. We also request you will have the goodness to [illegible] Clerk of the Comp’y to be prepared to [illegible] to the next Gen’l Meeting a staten’t of all the specific items of expenditure relative to the above Bill made up to the period at which such meeting may take place.
