A draft of the resolution passed by the committee at a general meeting held on 11 July 1828 in which it was resolved that all company ‘documents, plans, papers, agreements, reports, or other material’ in the possession of Leonard Raisbeck, should be handed over to Daniel Peacock and Edward Pease. The resolution is signed by Edward Pease, chairman.

Copy Minute of the Committee of the Stockton and Darlington Railway Company held at the Railway Office the 11th day of July 1828
Edward Pease Esq in the Chair
Resolved that in conformity with a Resolution of the General Meeting, Daniel Mitford Peacock and Edward Pease are appointed to receive from Leonard Raisbeck Esq’e all such Documents, Plans, Papers, Agreements, Reports, or other matters which may have come into his possession in consequence of his holding official situation which he has resigned under this Company, and on the same Documents being received to deposit the same in the Office of the Company.
