Dear Sir
On the other side is my Bill against the Subscribers to the proposed Stockton Canal.
If the business is not likely to move soon I will be obliged by you getting me paid for the service – if likely to move soon I could wait a little longer although the account has stood a considerable time in the books.
I am
Dear Sir with much esteem
Your most (illegible)
