Commenting on a dispute between the Stockton and Darlington Railway and the Tees Navigation Company. Proposes to act as peacemaker on the between the two companies. 'I should be the advocate of it to propose that's the arches to be constructed 1/5 more for water-way than is now proposed by our engineer'.
