Notice is hereby given
That a special General Meet’g of the S’ton & D’ton Rly Comp. will be held on Friday the 29 Feb instant at 10 – 0 Clock in the forenoon, at the offices of the said Co in Darlington in Co of D’m in order that the [illegible] Co may consent that a Bill now pend’g in the [illegible] the House of Commons entitled "A Bill to enable the Co of Prop’s of the S&D Rl’y to make certain branches therefrom in the Counties of D’m &York & to amend & enlarge the powers & provisions of the several Acts relating there to" may pass into a law subject to such alterations therein on the wisdom of Parliam’t may [illegible] & proper
