An apology from Peacock to Raisbeck expressing regret for handing over a committee resolution to him. He explains ‘Had I known the resolution of the committee which I put into your hands yesterday at Mr Pease’s request, in the same light in which I now do, I should have declined’. Peacock states that he disagrees with the resolutions and advises Raisbeck on how he should respond. The letter is written on mourning stationary.
