This series is made up of images where povanace could not be ascertained. The series contains images of locomotives, people, buildings and railway infastructure. Images exist elsewhere in the Hackworth archive under series descriptions of the individual who gathered the material. Images in this series has been gathered by members of the Hackworth family, however there is no definative proof who collected them. It is likely that some of these images were collected by Robert Young for Timothy Hackworth and the Locomotive (London: Locomotive Publishing Company, 1923)however it has not been possible to prove this.
