Anxious as has not yet received any money, has not been able to obtain any information regarding money, had received no reply to last letter. Has been staying with Mrs Bain for a month and should pay her room ‘my grocers and butchers bill, which I fear I shall not be able to do, it is certain I cannot do it, unless we receive our money before Monday’ ‘are you aware that we can make the trustees pay us the interest of the money, all this time that it has been lying in the bank, without our receiving interest for it’. Draft reply on back in pencil Greener is waiting for reply from the stamp office. In docket ‘Mary Hackworth re their money’.
