Has been expecting a letter from Mr. Pease 'he told me that they vis the company had nothing to do with the appointment but they wished to see me. he further said that you had the whole management neither did they think that you would appoint anyone unfit for the situation'; had received a letter off Mr. Storey intimating that both their services were wanted [with the Stockton and Darlington Railway Company]; asks to write and let him know if services are required; his wife gave birth to twins last night.
