Unveiling at Shildon of Memorial to Hackworth; asks if Hackworth had a sister Thomasine as he has the marriage lines of his grandparents which took place at Masssina in 1811, his mother spoke of his late uncle, John Spencer of Newburn Steelworks & of Hackworth; says his father was a Warbottle man who married a Miss Stagg, daughter of Sergeant Major Stagg, 20th Light Dragoons, and Thomasine Hackworth.
