Made enquiry at Glebe Colliery and the boiler is ready; The Bedlington Iron Co. Repairing the main engine and has not managed to finish the wooden wheels; angle sleeves forwarded shortly; boiler for 'Swift' engine is going forward. Cannot find plan for boiler sealing of the 'Glebe' [Globe?] engine.

Mr. Timy. Hackworth
Dear Sir
We have made inquiry at Glebe Coll y respecting that Boiler you write about and Mr Mason informed us that it is has been for some lying ready for you to take away, and he is rather surprised that you have not sent for it.
The Bedlington Iron Co. have been repairing this main Engine, and on that account have not been able to get your warden [?] wheels finished, but they expect to start again in a few days – The Angle Sheeves [?] shall be forwarded shortly – The Boiler for your swifts [?] Engine is getting forward, and the inside and outside cases are nearly ready for putting together – We cannot find any Plan of the Boiler Sealing[?] of the Glebe Engine which you purchased.
