Sir,
I take the liberty of informing you that I have lately removed from the Stockton & Darlington Railway Company’s Work Shops, to an establishment of my own, and am now at Liberty to enter into engagements for building Locomotive and other Steam Engines. Should you be kind enough to favour me with an order it shall have my best attention, in the execution of Materials and Workmanship, so as to ensure a continuance of further favors [sic]
