Includes copy letter to Prudence Nightingale (Nee Hackworth) from Elizabeth Holmes (nee Hackworth), Timothy Hackworth getting thinner every day ‘I am afraid it is a decided case of diabetes' Elizabeth Holmes (nee Hackworth)’s eldest daughter is seriously ill 'we had six leeches applied to her temples yesterday…this morning we put cat collops [leaches] to the soles of her feet, and I do think they have done her good'.
