‘Another instalment of injustice on the "invention of the locomotive" refers to a lecture given by Thomas Hudson, practical manager of a large works on the ‘History & development of the Steam Engine’ mentions some discrepancies. States that he used D.K. Clark and Zerah Colburn’s histories, which are ‘incorrect’ ‘which I am bold to affirm is the case! And pray who were these worthies? Men whom I knew, who had little or no personal knowledge of the subject upon which they wrote’ Mr Hudson was not impartial.
