You will be glad to hear that the Preachers are Blessedly united at the Conference |Mr Dixon says that the chapel is full of God – the scene in the vestry after Mr Bromleys reconciliation was truely moving – the preachers followed him & with tears of gratitude to God & affection to him, was more than he could bear – perhaps there never was such a Conference before – never have[?] the best numbers of our societies so much engaged with God in fervant[?] prayer, and the effects will appear in the Unity strength & prosperity of the connexion at large.
On Thursday evening they set about amplifying and extending our Rules so that every thing will be done to satisfy reasonable people but no intercourse can be held with the “Grand Centrals”. Mr Dixon has not yet arrived and I suppose will not be here before next week – No stations come yet to hand – Mr Hutton stands for us-
